Welcome! My name is Matt and I’m a Canadian born professional photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. I specialize in commercial, lifestyle and portrait photography.
I would describe my work as authentic, candid and in the moment. I’m not a huge fan of posing people, as this can come across as unnatural. Instead I create a space for people to be who they are and capture portraits that gives the viewer some insight into their personality. My images usually show a combination of my passions; people and the environment. My landscape photography has heavily influenced my people work and I often take shots in the real world rather than a studio.
I currently am the brand photographer for lululemon athletica Australia and New Zealand where I specialize in action and lifestyle related images focused on yoga and run. In addition to taking images for our various channels, I also support our amazing ambassador photographers. The lululemon images on this site are copyright lululemon athletica and used with permission for my portfolio. These images are not available for licensing.
